M and T Adventures has been inspired by my personal passion of the outdoors and more recently introducing my twin girls to countless adventures over the last 19 years.
I have worked as an Outdoor Instructor both in a freelance capacity and employed through a residential centre for 24 years, all of which has been based in and around the Lake District.
All of these have contributed to me now having a comprehensive knowledge of how to provide outdoor adventures for children and adults alike.
My personal achievements include; climbing the Matterhorn, ski touring the Haute route, Mountain biking Snowdon, kayaking in the Alps, Caving the Ease Gill traverse.
I have enough experience and local knowledge to not just provide the outdoor experience but understand a hot cup of tea/ coffee or a cold beer are what people appreciate after a day out. So finishing the day at some of the best cafes pubs or a brew from my own shelter will all be part of the experience with M&T Adventures.
Maya & Tilly Greenall
Our two girls; Maya & Tilly, are the inspiration behind M & T adventures. The trips and expeditions we have been on as a family has made us realise children are never too young to get out and enjoy our wonderful environment and nature.
They have skied every year since 3 years old and are now, at 19 keen to ski tour independently this winter. They been on 2 & 5 day canoe expeditions including Knoydart, River Spey; Scotland, England and The Ardeche; France, Sea kayaked a 4-day expedition in Croatia, Climbed Scafell Pike, Snowden and Ben Nevis. Cycled the 50-mile Tour de Furness, completed a two day hut to hut trip in the Alps, Caved in Gaping Gill and have slept in caves, wild camped and slept under the stars on mountains.
They are currently on a Gap Year travelling Europe via train including a mountain hut to hut trip in Slovakia, cycling in Majorca, Ski touring in Austria and travelling to South East Asia before starting University in September.
